Needham Farmers Market's Corn Boils Over

Sample locally-grown corn at the Needham Farmer's Market this weekend.

Corn is in season at the Needham Farmer's Market. It has been for a few weeks, actually.

If you haven't had a chance to try it, that could change at the Farmer's Market's corn boil this weekend.

This year, the corn boil at the Needham Farmers Market is actually heading to the grill. The Farmhouse's Chef Gabriel Luz is heading back to the market to share grilled corn in his special butter and spice sauce with shoppers from 2-3 p.m.. according to an announcement Farmers Market spokesperson organizers.

If you're on the fence about going to the Market, check our our photo gallery from some of the stalls

Who else can you expect to see around year's market? First week vendors include the MacArthur Farm, The Neighborhood Farm, Big Sky Bakery, Globe Fish, Lilac Hedge, Foxboro Cheese, Nella Pasta and Two Brothers Cookies.

The Needham Farmers Market is open Sundays, from 1-5 p.m. on the front lawn of First Parish in Needham
