Season Two for Needham Farmers Market

Fresh produce available in Needham Town Center, as the farmers market returns to the First Parish front lawn.

 

Good news for anyone who enjoyed last year's Farmers Market. They had so much fun, they're back for more! 

The Needham Farmers Market returns on June 2, from 1-5 p.m. on the front lawn of First Parish in Needham, according to an announcement Farmers Market spokesperson organizers.

Who can you expect to see opening this year's market? First week vendors include the MacArthur Farm, The Neighborhood Farm, Big Sky Bakery, Globe Fish, Lilac Hedge, Foxboro Cheese, Nella Pasta and Two Brothers Cookies. 

New for this year is the Chef in House program, which will start on the second week. Each week, a local chef will join market shoppers on short tours for about an hour. June 9, the program debuts with Chef Dave Becker from Sweet Basil.

Farmers Market was approved by Town Meeting last year. There was talk of moving the Market to the Town Common toward the end of last season, although the season is starting First Parish again.
