UPDATED: Needham Police Release Photo of TD Bank Robbery Suspect

Needham Police Department is reporting that TD Bank was robbed this afternoon.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., a man entered the bank located at 95 Highland Ave. and threatened a teller.

"The suspect indicated that he had a weapon, however no weapon was shown," said Needham Police Lieutenant Chris Baker.

The suspect is a white male, 5'10", wearing dark clothing. He allegedly passed a note stating he had a gun. He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

This incident takes place four days after TD Bank in Wellesley was robbed. Just as in that incident, a man passed a note saying he had a gun, though no weapon was visible. There has been no determination whether the two robberies were made by the same person, according to police.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information should call Needham Police Department at 781-455-7570.
