Marcia Yates, Neighbor

Marcia M. Yates is a software architect who lived in Needham for 34 years. She is a consultant, most recently a Consulting Architect at Philips Innovation Lab in Cambridge. She has held leadership technology positions at the Whitehead Institute, the Broad Institute, Good Start Genetics, Claritas Genomics, Cambridge Research and Instrumentation, Thomson Financial, and Fidelity Investments. She created and teaches an Enterprise Architecture course in the graduate computer science department at Boston University's Metropolitan College, and is first inventor on three broad software patents. She earned the Master of Science in Computer Science degree from Boston University.
