ReplyHowie puts on a great show...I've seen him a handful of times since 1999 when I first heard of him. If I weren't on vacation that week I'd be there!

ReplyEric: alas, this feature does not exist, so the best we can do for now is to provide a link to any place the conversation is happening. :)

Hi, Jane: thanks for your comment. This log mirrors entries in the Northborough police log; in this case, a description of the alleged suspects was provided to help authorities in their search. While it would provide no useful purpose to list the race of a person who was already in custody, for example, including such a description when someone is at-large is part of police work. It helps officers narrow down for whom they are searching.

ReplyI don't think that I've ever cursed on a phone call with a customer service rep or a telemarketer. My new MO is to simply pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I recommend it. Re: Massachusetts in cursing, I do think that we are more foul-mouthed than residents of other states, but hey, I spend the most time here so maybe I haven't found a wide enough sample. :-)

I miss going to Hopkinton State Park! My mom used to take me and a small group of friends there every year for my birthday: we brought a picnic and were allowed to get something from the ice cream truck! Fond, fond memories.
