William O'Donnell Sworn In as Register of Deeds

Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell Sworn in for Third Term.

Below is the press release from the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds: Norfolk County Register of Deeds William O’Donnell was swornin to a new term on January 3, 2013 during a brief ceremony at the Norfolk CountyCommissioners Office in Dedham. Conducting the swearing in was Norfolk CountyClerk of Courts Walter Timilty who had been sworn in earlier that day, and who alsoswore in re-elected County Commissioners Francis O’Brien and John Gillis. O’Donnell a Norwood resident, who has been the Register of Deeds since 2002, was re-elected during the November 6, 2012 election. Norfolk County Register of Deeds Website Gets Makeover

Residents can find a multitude of resources and learn how to use the newly renovated site at an informational seminar on Sept. 13 in Dedham.

The Norfolk County Registry of Deeds' website has a fresh look. Visitors to www.norfolkdeeds.org will find a link for first time homebuyers, foreclosure assistance, homestead protection, addresses of local food pantries and local assessors' homepages, to list a few of the online resources available. "In addition, our new appearance is being rolled out with the more gradual debut of our new public search engine, which allows real estate professionals and members of the public to comb through a database of close to 220 years of Norfolk County Land Records," Register William P.
