Police Reports: Pellet Gun Shooter on Town Common

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Needham Police were called to the Town Common on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 1:50 p.m. for an anonymous report that someone had been shooting an orange-colored pellet gun at people. Police did not locate the suspect. Other incidents included in the Oct. 9 Needham Police reports: Bicyclist Injured in Crash with Vehicle Police were called to Brookline and Manning streets on Friday, Oct. 5 at 10:50 a.m. for the report of a crash involving a bicyclist and motor vehicle. The bicyclist was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham for minor injuries. Driver Cited in Two-Car Crash Police were called to a multi-car crash at Highland Avenue and Webster Street on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 2:19 p.m. Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Police Reports: Dunkin’ Donuts Employee, Customer Have Water Fight

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Needham Police were called to Dunkin’ Donuts, 1203 Highland Ave., on Tuesday, Sept. 25 to help with a dispute between a customer and an employee. The incident occurred at around 8:20 p.m. The Dunkin’ Donuts employee told police that the customer had ”tossed a cup of water at her face,” according to the report. The customer said that the employee had “tossed two metal water pitchers at her head and arm.” Neither individual wanted to press charges. Police Reports: House Break-in on Wachusett Road

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A home on Wachusett Road was broken into recently, with jewelry and several household items reporting missing. Needham police responded to a report of a past break-in at the residence around 9:44 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19. The homeowner told police that he had returned home from vacation to find one of the house windows open and several items missing, including assorted pieces of jewelry and household items, according to reports. Local detectives are investigating.  Other incidents reported recently by the Needham Police Department: Door Damaged on Marked Tree Lane  A porch door at a Marked Tree Road home was vandalized sometime between Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Thursday, Aug. 18. Police Report: Laptops, Motorcycle Stolen Last Week

Hunnewell St. resident says computers were taken during house burglary.

Two laptop computers were reported stolen during a house break-in on Hunnewell Street last week in which the suspect appeared to have entered by cutting a screen in a kitchen window. Needham police were called at around 2:26 p.m. on Friday, April 29. The homeowner told police that shortly after returning home that day she had discovered that the outside screen on her kitchen window had been cut and the screen and window pushed open to allow entry, according to the police report. She reported two missing laptops—a six-month-old MacBook Pro and a two-year-old MacBook—believed to have been in the living room when she left. The woman told police that all of the exterior doors had been locked and the bedroom doors had been closed when she left …
