Police Reports: Plow Stolen Overnight

A Reservoir Street resident reported that his eight-foot Fisher plow was stolen sometime overnight between Monday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 28. Police are investigating. Other incidents noted in the Sept. 4 Needham Police reports: Woman’s Identity Used to Open T-Mobile Account A Gerber Circle resident reported identity fraud on Tuesday, Aug. 28. The woman told police that her personal information was used to open a T-Mobile account, and $482.80 was charged. The matter is being investigated. Police Reports: Vehicle’s Brake Line Cut

A Central Avenue resident reported on Monday, July 23 that someone had intentionally cut the brake and coolant lines on her vehicle. The resident had discovered the vandalism and taken the vehicle to a service technician, who diagnosed the damage. Police are investigating. Police Reports: Vehicle Break-ins on Lexington Ave.

Two vehicle owners on Lexington Avenue reported that their vehicles were broken into on Friday, July 6. An iPod, iPod radio adapter, GPS and DVD adapter were reported missing from one of the vehicles. A black backpack with swim goggles and Sony sport headphones was taken from the second vehicle. The incidents remain under investigation. Police Reports: Flags Stolen on 4th of July

Two U.S. flags were reported stolen from an Arch Street residence on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4. The homeowner told police that the flags had been taken sometime between the prior evening and the time of the report, at around 4:30 p.m. Along with a large flag displayed in the front of the home, a smaller flag on the front lawn had been stolen, with the flag handle broken off, according to reports. The man’s son said he had heard a banging noise the night before at around 11:30 p.m. Police checked the area and found that no other residences had missing flags. Police Reports: Medfield Youth Leaves Crash Scene After Driving Without License

A Medfield youth who was driving without a valid license was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he walked away from a crash on Central Avenue near the Needham Recycling and Transfer Station on Thursday, June 28. Local police responded to the report of a vehicle off the road at around 3:30 a.m. After an investigation, police tracked down the driver, a Medfield juvenile. The individual will be summonsed to Dedham District Court on charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, operating to endanger, using a motor vehicle without authority and unlicensed operation and speeding. Police Reports: Wheelchair Stolen on Chambers Street

Police responded on Friday, June 29 to the report of a stolen wheelchair at a Needham Housing Authority-run apartment building on Chambers Street. The incident was reported at around 4:46 p.m. Needham police spoke with a Housing Authority employee and a resident who said she may have seen two men remove a wheelchair from the building next to her. The matter remains under investigation. Police Reports: Fire Extinguishers Stolen

Fire extinguishers were reported stolen from a Charles Street business on Tuesday, June 19. An employee at Kerivan-Lane, 30 Charles St., told police that the items had been taken at around 3:09 a.m. and provided security footage of the theft. Other incidents noted in the June 26 Needham Police reports: Taillight Damaged in Hit and Run Behind Starbucks A hit and run was reported in the parking lot of Starbucks at 910 Highland Ave. on Wednesday, June 20. Police Reports: Man Sleeping on Tracks Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A Weymouth man was arrested on several outstanding warrants after he was found sleeping on railroad tracks near Gould Street on Saturday, June 9. Police responded to the report of a man asleep on the tracks at around 8:20 a.m. When confronted, the man originally gave a false name but appeared to be intoxicated and was taken into protective custody by Needham Police. He was later identified as being a 41-year-old Weymouth resident who had several outstanding warrants including assault and battery of a disabled person and larceny over $250, out of Brockton District Court, and bylaw violation, intimidation of a witness, threat to commit a crime, destruction of property over $250 and disturbing the peace, out of Quincy District Court. Police Reports: Windows Shattered by BB Gun

Two windows on a Woodbine Circle home were shattered by a BB or pellet gun on Saturday, June 2. A resident told police that he had heard a noise at about 1 or 1:30 p.m. that day and went to the rear door to find the cause but, because of rain, did not notice the damage to the windows, which are located in the rear of the house. When he later saw the damage, the resident contacted police, on Sunday, June 3 at around 10 a.m. Police did not find the pellets or BBs that broke the windows. Neighbors said they did not hear or see anything suspicious, according to reports. The incident remains under investigation. Police Reports: Glass Door Smashed on Bird Street

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A home on Bird Street was broken into on Thursday, May 24 and jewelry was taken. The incident was reported at around 6:49 p.m. The glass porch door to the residence had been smashed. Needham Police detectives processed the scene and conducted a canvas of the neighborhood, according to reports. Police are investigating.
