The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce held its annual 'Spring Seasonings' event on Monday, May 6. A sellout crowd packed the Newton Marriott to sample food from dozens of Newton and Needham restaurants.
The annual event was held at the Boston Marriott Hotel on April 30 with 38 local restaurants and several wineries and breweries.
More than 500 people from the area packed the Boston Marriott Newton Hotel Monday night for the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce's annual Spring Seasonings. Thirty-eight restaurants, the Newton Farmers’ Market and several regional wineries and breweries presented and served their specialties to an appreciative crowd made up of Chamber members, community leaders, residents, elected officials and local foodies. “I have been coming to [this event] for seven years, and this is definitely the best yet," said Blake Alleyn of The Sheraton Hotel Needham, which was represented by their Bullard’s restaurant. The Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce's 2012 Spring Seasonings is fast approaching. The event scheduled for Monday, April 30 will give participants a chance to sample cuisine from about 40 restaurants in both Newton and Needham.
