Tuesday, May 8 is the final day to submit applications for Carter Memorial United Methodist Church's Beyond the Patch scholarships.
Applications for Carter Memorial United Methodist Church's Beyond the Patch scholarships are due by Tuesday, May 8. Made possible through the church's annual pumpkin sale, the three scholarships are each for $500 and will be granted to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college after graduation and who demonstrate a sincere desire to serve others. There are no residency or church affiliation requirements necessary to apply for these awards. Visit www.carterumc.org to download an application.

Needham High School seniors were honored Sunday night during the Class of 2011 Baccalaureate, formerly known as Class Day, at the high school. Thank YOU, Becca! Poor Kyra- they mispronounced her first name on Class Day, misspelled our last name in the graduation program AND totally got her name wrong in the yearbook (Lyra Shapiro? REALLY?!?!) - without a picture, to boot! Luckily, she's a trooper and really loves NHS (as do her parents and her brother, who will be graduating in two years)!
