A woman called police on Thursday, June 7 at around 3:15 p.m. to report seeing a naked man at Ridge Hill Reservation on Charles River Street. The woman said that when she tried to get the man’s attention, he appeared startled and got into his vehicle and left. The woman was not able to tell police which direction the man headed. A Stoughton man was arrested on Thursday, March 15 for alleged drunk driving after being stopped in Needham for erratic driving. Police responded to the Needham Square area at around 9:22 p.m. for the report of an erratic operator. After speaking with the driver, the responding officer noted the smell of an alcoholic beverage, according to reports. After further investigation, the driver, a 39-year-old Needham resident, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and cited for a red light violation. A Needham resident reported that she was bumped by a vehicle while crossing Webster Street near Carey Road on Wednesday, Jan. 25 around 5:48 p.m. The woman told police that a red SUV had stopped for her as she was in the crosswalk but then proceeded ahead before she reached the middle of the road, bumping her. The motorist stopped and asked if the woman was OK, and she responded that she thought so, according to reports. A Needham woman was charged with assault after she allegedly got into a fight with a delivery person over a food order. Police were called to a Linden Street residence on Tuesday, Jan. 24 for the report of an assault over a food bill dispute. The delivery person, who was outside the home when police arrived, told officers that he had gotten into an altercation with a female resident over whether a food order had been paid for. A Needham teen was cited for marijuana possession after the vehicle he was riding in was stopped for driving without lights at around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21. Police stopped the vehicle in the area of Hunting Road. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer smelled “a strong odor of marijuana,” according to reports. A Holbrook man was charged with resisting arrest and other charges on Friday, Jan. 20 after he allegedly fled from police when stopped for speeding on Dedham Avenue. Police attempted to stop the man’s vehicle around 11:00 a.m. after spotting him speeding on Dedham Avenue near Bradford Street. The driver, a 47-year-old Holbrook man, continued going, eventually stopping his vehicle on Lincoln Street where he exited the vehicle and ran into a building, according to police reports. A parking meter at the intersection of Dedham Avenue and Lincoln Street was hit and the driver fled the scene sometime in the early morning on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
