I Told Them Not to Park Their Car in the Way of My Golf Swing At the Hersey upper parking lot, Needham Police responded to look into possible vandalism on a vehicle parked in the lot at midday. On First Avenue in Needham, a business reported a spat between two delivery drivers: the two men were arguing over who would make the delivery first, at 8:30 a.m. Neither party pressed charges, and both were advised to contact Needham Police before they argue again: http://patch.com/A-4nKB Not-Drunk Driver? Not Taking Out the Trash, but Taking it Out on the Trash. And the Recycling. According to Newton police, officers responded to four trash and recycling barrel fires in the West Newton/Auburndale area early Monday morning. 5 a.m.: The first incident was reported around 5 a.m. at South Gate Park, reports said. Both Newton Police and Newton Fire departments responded to the scene, where they found a city-issued green recycle bin on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the fire slightly damaged the barrel. 5:15 a.m.: The second barrel fire was reported nearby on Kilburn Road just a short while later, around 5:15 a.m. Similar to the incident on South Gate Park, the Newton Fire Department extinguished the fire in the city-issued barrel…

Digging Yourself in Deeper A Watertown man got into even deeper legal trouble at a Boston courthouse when he reportedly paid his court fees with counterfeit money. Prescription for Arrest A customer at a CVS Pharmacy in Wellesley attempted to fill a questionable prescription on March 23, police said. The pharmacist identified a woman at the store, and told police that something seemed incorrect about the scrip she was trying to fill. Upon arriving, police spoke to an employee, who said a customer made threats overnight while talking to customer service. Customer service calls are recorded. Don't Drink and Drive, Especially into a Police Cruiser On March 6, as a Wellesley police cruiser was overseeing a detail on Rte. 9 Eastbound with a National Grid crew. The officer and cruiser were behind a cone cordon on the work site, when another vehicle drove into the cordoned-off area and into the police cruiser. Both the driver and the officer were transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. If Only He'd Paid Attention to the Expiration Date on His Inspection Sticker A Newton man was arrested on license charges Feb. 20 after police pulled him over on Commonwealth Avenue for having an expired inspection sticker. According to reports, the Newton Police officer noticed the expired sticker and pulled the driver over near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and College Road. After pulling the driver over, police dispatch informed the officer that the driver had a suspended license. Andre W. Phillips, 24, of 847 Washington St., was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
