Aly Raisman To Greet Fans Thursday at AT&T Store

The gold medal Olympic gymnast from Needham will sign autographs during a public event leading up to her Kellogg's Tour performance on Sunday at TD Garden.

  Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is back in Boston this week as she gets ready to perform in the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions at TD Garden this weekend. On Thursday, Nov. 8, Raisman will be making a stop at AT&T’s Downtown Crossing store to sign autographs and meet fans. Raisman, a Needham resident, is scheduled to perform at the TD Garden on Sunday, Nov. 11 along with teammates Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney and other U.S. gymnastics medalists from the 2012 London Games. The show will also feature 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin. Raisman’s meet-and-greet on Thursday is free and open to all ages. The AT&T store is located at 349 Washington St., Boston. Needham's Aly Raisman is Olympics Bound

The recent Needham High School graduate earned a spot on the USA Women's Gymnasticse Team over the weekend and will be headed to London this summer.

Needham gymnast Aly Raisman is heading to London. The 18-year-old athlete and recent Needham High School graduate earned a spot on the USA Women's Gymnastics Team over the weekend during the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. Raisman was third in the overall standings at the Trials, with a final score of 120.950. Raisman, who trains at Brestyan's American Gymnastics in Burlington, is one of five women who made the Olympic team. In the top spot was Gabby Douglas of Virginia Beach, VA, followed by McKayla Maroney of Long Beach, CA. Following Raisman in the fourth and fifth spots respectively were Kyla Ross of Aliso Viejo, CA and Jordyn Wieber of DeWitt, MI.
