Needham Rockets quarterback Drew Burnett had a career game last Friday, Sept. 16 against the Mansfield Hornets, despite his team's loss, and the senior captain is optimistic about the remainder of the season. The Rockets are currently undefeated in the Bay State Carey Division and will look to earn their second conference win on Saturday when they travel to Curry College to face the Braintree Wamps. After four days of practices, Needham High School's varsity football head coach seems content with what he's seen from the Rockets.
It’s only been four days, but Needham Rockets head coach Dave Duffy seems quite pleased with what he’s seen thus far during football pratice. Yet, while there’s still roughly two weeks remaining until their regular season kicks off in Norwood, Duffy also believes a lot of work is necessary for his team to have a successful year.
