MassDOT Advises Motorists about Heavy Traffic over the Holiday Weekend
Travelers should avoid peak traffic times between 1 and 7 p.m. on Friday and Monday.
Needham residents who are looking to celebrate the long Memorial Day weekend out of town may want to pay attention to the following advisory released Thursday by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation: ----- Holiday Weekend: Travel Safely MassDOT encourages travelers to plan ahead and travel safely during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. The heaviest traffic is expected Thursday, Friday, and Monday afternoons and early evenings. Drivers are encouraged to make travel plans accordingly and if possible avoid peak traffic volumes between 1 and 7 p.m. on those days.
