With a flu epidemic affecting much of the country, local hospitals are hoping to protect their patients by keeping visits to a minimum. The Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital Needham website has announced a few restrictions on visitors to help stop the spread of the Flu. As of Jan 14, restrictions include: Newton-Wellesley Hospital has put similar restrictions in place to help limit the spread of the flu virus, according to the hospital's website.
