WATCH: Aly Raisman Encourages Pollard Students to "Ask, Listen, Learn"

Needham olympian Aly Raisman stops by the Pollard Middle School to talk about underage drinking and making healthy decisions.

  A Needham Olympian returned to her middle school today--to talk to the kids about making good choices. Aly Raisman brought The Century Council's Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don't Mix program to the Pollard Middle School on Monday. The program encourage parents and kids to have active discussions about the dangers of underage drinking. In addition to promoting an ongoing dialog between parents and kids, the Ask, Listen Learn program aims to give kids the courage to "say YES to a healthy lifestyle and NO to underage drinking." To that effect several student leaders, and Raisman, played a quick interactive game on a projection screen. Aly Raisman's New Cause: Let Kids Know It's OK to Say 'No' to Booze

"Kids and alcohol don't mix," is the message of the organization the Needham gymnast and her parents are joining.

  Needham-based gymnast Aly Raisman has been all over the media: with President Obama on television, with movie stars in Hollywood; promoting a sparkling water, talking up a jewelry line. Now the Olympic gold-medaling athlete is lending her star power to a cause: urging teens to realize that it is not only OK to not bow to peer pressure and take part in underage drinking, but that it is the smart thing to do if you want to be a high achiever like she is. Aly Raisman and her parents, Lynn and Rick Raisman, joined The Century Council and its Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don't Mix program to encourage parents and kids to have active discussions about the dangers of underage drinking.
