Jeff and Eliot Popkin established The Ellie Fund after their mother, Eleanor, lost her nine-year battle againstMore breast cancer. The organization now carries on the spirit of Eleanor, fighting hard to help all those afflicted with breast cancer.

The fund hosts several events each year, including Oscar Night America, Driving Fore a Cure and The Resolution Ball, to raise funds for cancer research. Many volunteer opportunities are also available. The Care for the Caregiver program, meanwhile, offers free support services to women with breast cancer.
