Temple Aliyah is a Jewish synagogue that urges its members to "enrich their Jewish lives, to enhance their JewishMore identities and to engage in lifelong learning." Rabbi Carl M. Perkins conducts services throughout the week.

Temple Aliyah offers a host of group activities, including Social Action, Men's Club, Sisterhood, 45 and Counting, and the Israel Kesher Committee. There is also an active teen community that helps with community service and takes part in social events like basketball, dances and social action projects.

Chabad Jewish Center

The Chabad Jewish Center services the communities of Needham, Westwood, Dover and Dedham. The center practices AhavasMore Yisroel, which is "an unconditional love and concern for every Jew, regardless of age, background, affiliation or level of observance," according to the official Web site.

In lieu of a synagogue, Chabad has a Shul, which is Yiddish for a place of prayer and study, an environment that speaks to the characteristics of home. All are welcome to services here.

Chabad also provides weekly adult education classes on the Torah, as well Hebrew School for children. Additionally, Chabad offers Shabbat dinners, a women's circle, a community circle and kids' workshops. Community outreach includes Mitzvah campaigns, hospital visitations, Kosher Awareness Day and other programs.

Congregation Ruach Israel

Ruach Israel is a Messianic Jewish synagogue that conducts regular Shabbat Morning Services and Friday ShacharitMore Services. This group is heavily involved with helping various causes, including working with Hannah's Hope, Heifer International and most recently sending relief to Haiti. A host of groups meet regularly at Ruach Israel, which is housed within the Greendale Avenue Worship Center. The Ruach Israel Shabbat School provides on-site children's education for ages 3 and up. Ruach Israel also provides training for Messianic Jewish young people to work toward their respective mitzvahs.
