Weekend Planner: Field Fresh, Plugging In, Bobble-Headed and more!

A selection of weekend events for Needham and Wellesley.

Senior Citizens looking to get around Wellesley may not be aware of all of the options. So, to help educate folks, the Wellesley Library will host a panel on those options. At 10:30 a.m., come and get all of your questions about The Ride, Busy Bee and other transportation options answered

Go stand in a field. Then sit down and have dinner. Volante Farms is bringing dinner in the field to, well, their field. Saturday, head over as they bring sustainably-made wines and food to your table. It costs $120 per person, sign up on their website

Tappin’ Ted Powers is swinging in to entertain at Waterstone (27 Washington St) this weekend. At 2:30 p.m. on Sunday! It's a free event, it's open to the public, but they'd like you to call 781-235-1614 and RSVP.

Sunday afternoon, 3 p.m., Plugged In invites you to Meet the Teachers!  Kids 8 to 18 are welcome to come and join the practice space, so get to know who they'll be working with. Come to their Needham location to meet their teachers and chat about their programs and experiences, and show you a bit of the Plugged In program.

If you're a big New England Revolution fan, then perhaps you already have the bobbleheads of the team. However, if you haven't started your collection--or you want to expand it, there is a giveaway at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Starting at 7:30 p.m., they're giving away a limited number of Saer Sene dolls.
