SATURDAY EVENTS

9 a.m.: Norfolk County Agricultural High School will hold their 11th annual craft fair at 400 Main St., Walpole. Many home crafted items such as afghans, mittens, doll clothes, and furniture, wood crafted items, jewelry, purses and bags, sweet treats, jams, relishes, pet items, candles, holiday decorations and ornaments, kids craft corner and much more.

SUNDAY EVENTS

10 a.m.: Come to the first brunch of Temple Tots’ Sunday Learning Series, “Feeding Tots—Preparing Jewish Nosh,” at Temple Aliyah from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sarah Wilensky will bring her Jewish culinary expertise to lead parents and children in preparing a Hanukkah meal. Children and their parents will decorate aprons, make dips for latkes, and take home a variety of delicious latke recipes. 11 a.m.: Come see the blessing and dedication of new solar panels at Christ Church, 1132 Highland Ave., Needham. The Bishop Roy "Bud" Cederholm, former Needham resident, will bless the panels (via tree bucket lift) and offer his thoughts on our collective role in reducing carbon emissions. The 96 panels were installed on the church's south-facing roof in late October, and are expected to "go live" in early December.  They will generate 85% of the church's electrical needs. 2 p.m.: Daniel Cooper, Federal Reserve economist and Needham resident, will discuss the role of the Fed in promoting economic stability and growth both at a national and local level at Needham Public Library. Learn about how the Boston Fed is helping revitalize local Massachusetts communities, and Cooper’s research on consumer behavior. Follow-up questions and discussion are welcome.
