Human Trafficking Presentation to be Held at First Parish Needham

SATURDAY EVENTS

10:30 a.m.: Super Cool Beans, featuring Bobo the Funky Purple Bean, Chili the Cool Blue Bean & Angie the Checkerboard Bean will perform a concert in the Community Room of Needham Public Library. They are ready to bounce and bring their freshly grown brand of interactive entertainment to a new crop of sprouts. This program, for ages 2 and older, has been enhanced with entertaining props and interactive fun.

SUNDAY EVENTS

9:15 a.m.: First Parish, 23 Dedham Ave, Needham will host Peter DiMarzio, victim assistance coordinator with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in New England. He will present Hidden in Plain Sight - Human Trafficking in Our Midst. DiMarzio's presentation will include a 15-minute video and discussion of such topics as the definitions and forms of human trafficking, its impact on victims, sex trafficking and warning signs, and victim assistance.

Noon to 5 p.m.: Support the Needham Community Council when you shop for the holidays at the Grey Goose, 95 Chapel St., Needham. Fifteen percent of sales will be donated to the Council.
