Blue Tree Lighting to be Held This Weekend

WEEKEND WEATHER

Saturday: Today will be mostly clear and cold. Highs will be in the lower 30s. Temperature lows will be 15 to 20. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy. It will be cold with lows in the lower 20s.

Sunday: It will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain showers. Temperature highs will be in the lower 40s. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain and snow showers. Lows will be  in the lower 30s. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the mid/upper 50s.

SATURDAY EVENTS

3 p.m.: Plugged In Teen Band Program, 20 Freeman Place, Needham, will hold a modes and improvisation clinic for guitar players. This two-hour clinic will be hosted by Plugged In instructors Steph Goyer and Ben Cohen. This program is open to ages 13 to adult. Participants must know the notes on the 6th and 5th strings as well as basic music theory. Workshop fee is $50 per person online or at the door.

4:30 p.m.: The annual Blue Tree Lighting will be held in Avery Square and Needham Common. Santa will arrive 5:30 p.m.
