The Week Ahead: Big Red Dogs, Memorable Seats for Sale and More!

Five things to know about the Week ahead for Dover, Needham and Sherborn.

1. The National Weather Service predicts a slight (30 percent) chance of showers, but otherwise a partly sunny day, a partly cloudy night, and temperatures between 70ºF and 42ºF.

2. Some people are dog fans, and some people like the color red. The biggest, reddest dog we know of is coming to the Sherborn Library this week. Clifford, the Big, Red Dog is going to be reading stories and meeting kids on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

3. The Sherborn Dunkin Donuts location is now hiring. If you're looking for a job, and are really into breakfast pastries, than this may be your opportunity. Stop by the Job Fair on Wednesday, at 54 East Central St. in Natick, which starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. If you tell them we sent you, you don't have to schedule an interview.

4. To help support their work, the Needham Community Farm is hosting a dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, with the help of Petit Robert Bistro. They are hosting the Farm's  food & wine pairing, which will run $90 person. For seating information, call 781-559-0532.

5. Starting on Tuesday this week, the various Chairs to Remember will be on display at the Needham Town Hall. This leads up to the auction at the end of the week, Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Tickets for the auction are available for $20 at the following locations: Taylor’s Stationery, Perennial Designs, Closet Exchange, Black Sheep, The Grey Goose, and The Center Café. For folks who can't wait until then, the event has a Bidding for Good auction page which is now live
