Members volunteered for a variety of projects that benefit people in the community.

Volunteers from Temple Aliyah decorated clay planting pots, donated by Volante Farms, to be delivered to the Woods Mullen homeless shelter in Boston on Sunday, May 20, as part of Temple Aliyah's annual Mitzvah Day.

Temple members also volunteered for a host of other projects: they created scrapbooks for Alzheimer's patients, made fleece blankets for Cradles to Crayons, created care packages and wrote letters to U.S. soldiers, gave a concert at Avery Manor nursing home, cooked a meal for Bristol Lodge soup kitchen in Waltham, and more.
