Michael Bertoni has stepped down after one season as boys hockey coach at Needham. Bertoni confirmed his decision in an e-mail to the Herald on Thursday.
Bertoni took over last June for longtime Rockets coach Bill Guisti and led the team to a 9-11-1 mark, missing out on the postseason by one game.
