Medfield challenged the Needham Legion Post 14 Baseball at home, at Memorial Park on July 8. After an early 2-0 lead for the visitors from Medfield Post 110 at the top of the 3rd, Needham answered with a single to load all of the bases.
The game ultimately came down to the top of the 8th, when Medfieldd player T.J. Valente hit a homer to deep center, and Matt Casieri shut down the Needham team on the mound for a 3-2 Medfield victory.
