Needham Channel Small Business Spotlight: Nigohsian Carpet & Rug

Mark Silverman of the Needham Business Association hosts Meet Your Needham Merchants for The Needham Channel. In this episode, Silverman talks with Bill Fallon of Nigohsian Carpet & Rug, 57 Crawford St., Needham.

Founded in 1928, by John Nigohsian, Nigohsian Carpet & Rug offers quality floor coverings, sold by a highly trained group of staff members. Nigohsian's son, Charles, joined the business in 1948 and expanded to include fine quality carpets and area rugs. Charles' daughter, Charlene, came on board in 1988, and today she and her husband Bill own and operate the company, making it a third-generation family business. The store also offers stair runners and oriental rugs. 

Store hours are Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. The store is closed Sunday's Memorial Day through Labor Day.
