Norfolk DA Learns about Needham High School Drug and Decision Programs

RADD, SALSA, Own your Piece/Peace and Take Back the Night among programs on upcoming episode of DA program.

[Update: According to an e-mail from the DA, the episode, "Empowering Teens" will air on the Needham Channel starting Feb. 7. Jan. 29, 11 a.m.]

Coming soon to the local access channel: three Needham students. 

The Norfolk County District Attorney filmed an episode of his program "Making Choices" at Needham High School's video lab, featuring a trio of Needham Students working with programs at the school.

These programs include The Own your Peace/Piece Coalition, Take Back the Night, RADD (Rockets against Destructive Decisions) and SALSA (Students advocating for life without substance abuse). 

Michael Morrissey, the Norfolk County DA interviewed students Alli Rubin of RADD and SALSA, Leah Siegal of Take Back the Night and Sam Moller of Own Your Peace about their programs (see video, right). Each of them discussed the work their groups do within the Needham Community and upcoming events.
