Despite the oncoming snow, Needham Public Schools are open today, Jan. 2.
“Leave plenty of time and drive safely to school,” said superintendent Daniel Gutekanst via Twitter this morning. He noted that updates will be provided later today.
After-school activities have been cancelled. There will be no athletic or adult education programs. Parents of Needham Extended Day Program students are asked to pick up their child(ren) no later than 4 p.m.

Norfolk County Agricultural High School, however, has cancelled for Thursday and Friday.
