Bibbo Finalist for Wayland High School Principal Position

The field of candidates to become the next permanent Wayland High School principal has been narrowed to three finalists, according to a district-wide notice.

-Tamatha Bibbo. She currently works as the K-12 Director for Service Learning at the American School in London and was previously the assistant principal of Needham High School and Franklin High School. She has a master's degree in educational technology from Framingham State. She also has a master's and bachelor's degree from Boston College.

-Brian Harrigan - Harrigan is currently the assistant principal of Westwood High School. He previously taught social studies in Washington D.C. Harrigan has a bachelor's degree from Amherst College and a master's degree from the Catholic University of America. He also has a master's degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a certificate of advanced graduate study in educational leadership form Boston College.

-Allyson Mizoguchi- Mizoguchi is currently the assistant principal of Wayland High School. She has previously served as an English teacher in Wayland and in Brookline. She has a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a master's degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

All three candidates will soon visit Wayland High School. Mizoguchi will have her tour on Jan. 28, while Harrigan and Bibbo will visit on the Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 respectively.

The announcement comes after the Selection Advisory Committee reviewed applications and resumes to narrow the field. They also interviewed some candidates. Anybody wishing to offer feedback on the candidates can complete a feedback form.

Whomever is chosen will replace Pat Tutwiler, who departed for a job in Brighton.
