Tree spraying takes place on the town common, the Heights Common and Memorial Park on Friday, May 30, from 4-5 a.m., the town announced on its website.
The target pest is the Winter Moth, and the spraying is being conducted by Hartney Graymont. The pesticide product name is Conserve SC Turf and Ornamental Insect Control and the pesticide type is Spinosad. The EPA reg. # is 62719-291.
