The Town of Needham sponsors one household hazardous waste collection event each year for all Needham residents at no charge, and this year’s takes place this weekend.
The collection will run 8 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works, 470 Dedham Ave., Needham. If you are stopping by, enter at DeFazio Field.
A driver’s license or RTS disposal sticker are required as proof of residency. No materials will be accepted from commercial operations.
Small quantities of products that in normal usage are disposed of in the trash or down the drain do not need to be brought to a hazardous waste event for disposal if disposed of as intended.
