Vehicle Vandalism in Needham Police Log: Nov. 28 - Dec. 1

Thursday, Nov. 28

12:39 a.m.: A police officer observed a grey Jeep SUV traveling southbound toward him on Webster Street at a high rate of speed. A subsequent traffic stop revealed that the operator, Jillian Tierney, 28, of Needham was intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and speeding.

5:04 p.m.: A Great Plain Avenue merchant called to state that the rear of her store and her motor vehicle were vandalized outside of her store.

11:23 a.m.: A Needham resident reported that her car was spray painted while it was parked behind the Learning Express on Chestnut Street. This occurred Nov. 30 between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
