A Needham man was transported to the hospital on Friday morning after he crashed his vehicle into the building at 59 East Militia Heights.
The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m., and the driver, a 55-year-old Needham resident, was transported to as a precaution, according to a report issued by Lt. Chris Baker.
No one else was injured in the crash, and the building suffered no structural damage, according to reports. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The driver will be cited for failure to use care in stopping, Baker said.
Charles River Center serves children and adults who have developmental disabilities.
