Stolen Laptop; Tree Spraypainted at Greens Field; One Arrest

The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, July 17 

  • At 4:55 p.m., police reported to a hit and run on Henderson Street. A resident said that a landscaping truck was working and hit her car as they drove off. 
Friday, July 18 

  • At 11:06 a.m., police stopped a car for speeding at the intersection of Hunting Road. The operator was driving with a suspended license, revoked for OUI. Michael Keigan, 44, 4 Heather Drive, A, Norwood, was arrested for operating with a suspended license, and his vehicle was towed. 
  • At 4:41 p.m., police responded to Pickering Street for a report of vandalism. Police saw and photographed spray paint on a tree in the basketball court at Greens Field 
  • At 9:10 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen laptop at a Highland Street address. The owner said it was stolen from his car within the past two hours.
