UPDATED: Roll Over Crash Injures Several during Multi Car Accident on Rte. 128 in Needham
Ambulances are responding for reports of multiple injuries from the accident near Highland Avenue.

Massachusetts State Police report that six people injured in this afternoon's accident on Rte. 128 suffered minor injuries but were taken to hospital for precautionary reasons.
The accident occured between exits 19A and 19B (Highland Avenue) and included multiple cars, but the injuries took place in two vehicles - a 2003 Honda and a 2009 Honda, according to Trooper Kenneth Gaetz, spokesman for the State Police.

"A total of six people went to hospital with minor injuries," Gaetz said. "One of the cars rolled over."
Gaetz did not have the names of those injured, but said the 2003 Honda was driven by a 33-year-old Hyde Park man and the 2009 Honda by a 36-year-old Holliston man.

"The cause of the accident is under investigation," Gaetz said. "No charges have been filed."

Several people suffered injuries in a multi-car accident on Rte. 128 near Highland Avenue in Needham, this afternoon.
Reports of the accident involving three to four vehicles on the northbound side of 128 came in at about 2:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon, according to multiple scanner reports.
One of the vehicles rolled over, and four adults and two children reportedly suffered injuries, according to scanner reports. Three ambulances are heading to the scene.
All lanes except the center lane of Rte. 128 north have been closed to allow emergency crews to deal with the accident, according to reports. Traffic has been backed up.
