Police Reports: Plow Stolen Overnight

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A Reservoir Street resident reported that his eight-foot Fisher plow was stolen sometime overnight between Monday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 28. Police are investigating.

Woman’s Identity Used to Open T-Mobile Account
A Gerber Circle resident reported identity fraud on Tuesday, Aug. 28. The woman told police that her personal information was used to open a T-Mobile account, and $482.80 was charged. The matter is being investigated.

Computers Taken in Vehicle Break-in
An Avery Street resident reported on Tuesday, Aug. 28 that someone had stolen a Dell laptop computer and an iPad from their unlocked vehicle.

Two People Injured in Crash
Two women were taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries after they were involved in a two-vehicle crash at High Rock Street and Marked Tree Road on Wednesday, Aug. 29. The incident occurred at 9:56 a.m. A 70-year-old Gloucester resident and a 63-year-old Norwood resident were taken to . The vehicles were towed from the scene.

Woman Receives Suspicious Telemarketing Call
A Forest Street resident contacted police on Wednesday, Aug. 29 after receiving a suspicious phone call from a telemarketer.

The woman said she had received a prerecorded telemarketing call from an unknown company about lowering her interest rates. When she pressed zero to speak with an operator and request that she be taken off the company’s call list, the operator reportedly responded with an obscene comment.

Police attempted to contact the company but were unable to reach them because the phone number did not accept incoming calls.

iPod Stolen in Vehicle Break-in
A Webster Street resident reported that someone broke into her vehicle overnight between Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 and stole her iPod.  

Plants Knocked Over at Local Business
Police were called to a Hunnewell Street business on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 8:30 a.m. for the report of past vandalism to a storefront. Someone had knocked over several potted plants and broken a vase.

Copper Stolen From Hillside School
Police were called to on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 10:07 a.m. for the report of stolen copper plating. A copper wall cap had been removed. The head custodian told police he was unsure when the theft occurred.

Vehicles Keyed on Hillside Avenue
Police were called to a Hillside Avenue home on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 10:20 a.m. for the report of past vandalism. Three vehicles that had been parked in the driveway were keyed earlier that morning.
