Police Reports: Laptops Stolen in Vehicle Break-ins

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A William Street resident reported that someone broke into their vehicles overnight on Saturday, June 23 and removed two laptop computers from two separate cars. The vehicles were parked in a garage at the time of the theft.

An Ardmore Road resident reported on Friday, June 22 that he was threatened by his brother.

Hit and Run in Panera Parking Lot
A hit and run was reported on Friday, June 22 at around 1:36 p.m. in the parking lot of , 120 Highland Ave. A parked vehicle was damaged in the incident.

Vehicle Damaged in Hit and Run
A hit and run was reported on Friday, June 22 at Chestnut and Oak streets. The caller said that around 5:25 p.m. another vehicle struck his, causing minor damage. The driver left the scene without exchanging information.

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Car
A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital on Saturday, June 23 at around 11:33 a.m. after being involved in a crash with a car on Parish Road at Central Avenue. The individual was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston with non life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

Noise Disturbance on Barbara Road
Police were called to a Barbara Road residence on Sunday, June 24 at around 1:08 a.m. for the report of loud noises. Police spoke with a man at the residence who said that his intoxicated son had been the source of the disturbance and that the son had since gone to bed.

Two Injured in Crash Caused by Medical Episode
Two people were taken to the hospital on Sunday, June 24 after they were involved in a single-vehicle crash caused when the driver had a medical episode. The crash occurred at around 9:51 a.m. in the 1200 block of Central Avenue. Both occupants were taken to for evaluation.

Waltham Driver Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
A Waltham woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant after she was pulled over in Needham for not having a license plate light.

Police stopped the vehicle on Highland Avenue near Highland Terrace at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 24. Along with having an outstanding warrant, the driver, a 24-year-old Waltham resident, was charged with operating after license revocation.

Fire Department Vehicle Damaged
A vehicle was damaged in a crash that occurred on Monday, June 25 while it was parked at Station 1 at 88 Chestnut St. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
