A set of kitchen cabinets was reported stolen from an Edwardel Road residence on Thursday, June 21 at around 4:19 p.m.
A general contractor working at the home told that his supplier had probably taken the cabinets to ensure payment at the end of the week for the remainder of the work to be done. The contractor told police he just wanted the missing cabinets returned.

Employee Accused of Stealing Landscaping Tools
An employee at a Needham landscaping company was accused of stealing about $925 worth of tools on Tuesday, June 19.
The owner of JC Landscaping, 330 Reservoir St., told police that an employee had admitted to borrowing the items without permission and had agreed to return them the next morning by 7 a.m. He failed to do so, however, so the owner reported the theft to police at around 9:30 a.m.
The matter is under investigation.
Cyclist, Motor Vehicle Crash
Police were called to an accident involving a cyclist and a motor vehicle at Manson and Highland Avenue on Monday, June 18. The crash occurred at around 12:54 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
Wallet Left on Hood of Car
A woman came to the police station on Monday, June 18 at around 4 p.m. to report that she had left her wallet on the hood of her car and lost the wallet somewhere between at 79 Highland Ave. and her office.
Woman, Dog Involved in Rollover Crash
A woman and her dog were involved in a rollover crash on Charles River Street at Whitman Road on Monday, June 18 at around 7 p.m.
The woman was exiting the vehicle as police arrived and was transported to for unspecified injuries, according to reports. Her dog, which had been riding in the vehicle, was unhurt.
A fence was damaged and a tree destroyed in the crash, according to reports.
The woman told police she had been trying to avoid an animal in the road when she lost control of her vehicle.
Checks Stolen from Dentist’s Office
A Needham dentist reported on Wednesday, June 20 that someone had stolen three checks from his checkbook while it was in his office. The incident is under investigation.
