Police Reports: Jewelry Taken in House Break-in

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A home on Nehoiden Street was broken into on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The homeowner returned at around 6:18 p.m. to find a door forced open and jewelry missing. Needham Police are investigating.

FedEx Package Taken from Porch 
A Great Plain Avenue resident reported a missing package on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 8:30 p.m. The package had been delivered by FedEx but was taken from the front porch.

Woman Arrested for Violating Restraining Order 
Police responded to a Highland Avenue business on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. and arrested a 23-year-old Rockland woman for violating a restraining order.

Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle Near COA 
Police were called to the Council on Aging, 83 Pickering St., on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 10:09 a.m. for the report of a motor vehicle striking a person the day before. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that there were only minor injuries. No citations were issued.

Rosary Beads, Cash Stolen 
A resident at Wingate at Needham, 589 Highland Ave., reported larceny on Thursday, Oct. 25 at around 6 p.m. A small bag containing rosary beads and cash were reported stolen from her room.

Driver Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash 
A male driver was taken to the hospital on Friday, Oct. 26 after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Charles River Street. The incident occurred at around 4:25 a.m. The man was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. He was charged with operating to endanger.
