An iPod Touch and a carton of cigarettes were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a lot on Lincoln Street on Friday, Dec. 30. The vehicle owner said the items had been taken sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

DVDs, Games Taken From Vehicle
Several DVDs and two PlayStation games were stolen from a vehicle on Captain Robert Cook Drive overnight between Dec. 29 and 30. The items had been left in a bag in the unlocked vehicle, according to reports.
Man Caught Driving After Suspension
A Needham man was pulled over on Mellen Street on Thursday, Dec. 29 for driving with a suspended license. His plates were seized and his vehicle was towed. A friend picked him up from the scene.
Driver Charged Twice With Driving on Suspended License
A 26-year-old Weymouth man was pulled over in Needham on Friday, Dec. 30 and arrested on a warrant out of Brockton Court for operating with a suspended license. The vehicle was stopped on Highland Avenue at Gould Street, and the driver was charged with a second count of operating after suspension.
Teen Reported Missing After Drinking, Later Found Safe
A local man contacted police on Saturday, Dec. 31 to report that his 18-year-old son might be missing. The man was concerned because his son sounded “highly intoxicated” in their last phone call at 11:00 p.m. Friday evening, according to reports.
Police located the teen traveling on foot in the Birds Hill area. After noting that the individual appeared to have been "drinking heavily," according to reports, officers placed him in protective custody and later released him to his father.
Vehicle Struck in MBTA Lot
A hit and run was reported on Friday, Dec. 30 in the parking lot. One vehicle hit another and the driver continued without stopping, according to police reports. The hit vehicle suffered minor damage. The case remains open.
