Police Reports: Ceramic Birds Stolen from Shop

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

An employee of Simply Stated Interiors in Needham contacted police around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 to report that someone had stolen two decorative birds from the shop.

The blue birds had been on display near the front entrance of the store and were taken sometime between noon and 3:45 p.m., according to reports. The shop employee did not see who might have taken the birds.

Local Account Used for Best Buy Purchase in Florida 
An Audrey Avenue resident called police on Wednesday, June 15 to report that a fraudulent purchase had been made at a Best Buy in Fort Lauderdale, FL using the resident’s account information. Best Buy is investigating the purchase, according to police reports.

Unauthorized Account Opened at Kohl’s 
A Highland Avenue resident contacted police on Wednesday, June 15 after learning that someone had opened a credit card in her name at Kohl’s Department Store in Burlington. The incident occurred on June 11, and store security was made aware of it, according to police reports.
