Police Reports: Break-in at Martial Arts Center

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

A break-in was reported at on Saturday, July 7 at around 10:30 a.m.

Money and other items were reported stolen from the business. The matter is under investigation.

Missing License Plate
An Elmwood Road resident reported on Wednesday, July 4 at around 7:15 p.m. that one of his vehicle’s license plates had been lost or stolen. The man told police he was unsure when the rear license plate went missing but that he had noticed it while the car was parked in his driveway that afternoon.

Tech Devices Stolen from Capt. Robert Cook Drive Home
An iPod Nano and Android cell phone were reported stolen from a Captain Robert Cook Drive residence on Wednesday, July 4 at around 8:45 p.m. Police are investigating.

Missing Cell Phone Reported
A California resident came to the police station on Wednesday, July 4 at around 11:45 p.m. to report that he had either lost his cell phone or it was stolen.

Needham Man Arrested for Domestic Assault
A Needham man was arrested for domestic assault and battery after a disturbance at a Captain Robert Cook Drive home on Thursday, July 5. The incident occurred at around 1:55 a.m. The man arrested was a 19-year-old resident of Seabeds Way.

Possum Removal on Pickering Street
Police were called to a Pickering Street residence on Thursday, July 5 to help remove an opposum.

Gas Odor at Great Plain Ave. Business
Police responded to on Thursday, July 5 at around 9:28 a.m. for the report of the odor of gas in the building. Fire Department officials were also on the scene.
