Police Reports: Attempted Break-in on Pilgrim Road

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Needham Police were called to a Pilgrim Road home on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 5:25 p.m. for the report of a past attempted break-in. The responding officer examined the home's outside door and found evidence of someone attempting to enter the home; however, no entry was gained.

Bike Stolen From Pollard Middle School
Police were called to Pollard Middle School on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. for the report of a bike stolen from the school. The bike was described as an orange and black Nishaki multi-speed valued at $200.

Vehicle Struck Near Dunkin’ Donuts
An employee at Dunkin’ Donuts, 260 Chestnut St., reported that her vehicle was struck while it was parked in the lot on Friday, Oct. 12 at around 12:50 p.m. There were no witnesses to the incident.

Gas Leak at First Avenue Business
A gas leak was reported at the Restaurant Depot, 114 First Ave., on Friday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. Needham Fire Department and NSTAR officials arrived on the scene, cleared the building and closed the leak. No injuries were reported.

Trash Dumped Outside Building
The owner of a building on Hunnewell Street reported on Saturday, Oct. 13 that trash bags had been dumped in the parking lot.
