raven, I too am sorry for your loss. I am just devastated at the loss of my friend. I agree that these issues about sidewalks and speed "should" be discussed and change "should" happen. Maybe it can be done in the names of those who lost their lives. I just feel that the discussion should be done in an article that is written about speed and sidewalks, not in an article that is announcing someone's tragic passing. Let the spotlight be on the beautiful funny loving woman who left this world too soon and left in her wake a shattered family. Let the focus be on her life, those she touched, and nothing else. I am not trying to spark debate, I am just trying to honor a friend.

Hey folks, This seems to be a pretty hot topic, so I went ahead and made a separate article about the safety issues of Annaquatucket. I'm also asking for residents to name other roads that they also consider dangerous for pedestrians, bicyclists, runners, etc. Feel free to move the discussion over here: http://northkingstown.patch.com/articles/which-nk-roads-need-sidewalks
