The following reports were provided by the Needham Police Department from Nov. 21 - 23. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

  • Report of a larceny from a vehicle parked at Capt. Robert Cook Drive, at about 5:30 p.m. Police investigated the car and learned prescription drugs and some cash were taken from the vehicle.

  • A Pershing Road resident reported some unknown persons disposed of construction materials in the dupster on her property. It was reported at 8:30 a.m., although the resident believes it may have occurred overnight.
  • Before noon, police responded to a hit-and-run crash on Hunnwelll Street, near West. A vehicle wing mirror was broken, and the owner was instructed to contact their insurance company.

Friday, Feb. 8

  • A Dale Street construction worker reported at 9 a.m. that a piece of construction equipment had been vandalized.
