Minor on LSD Allegedly Assaults Family, Needham Police

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, several police officers responded to 15 Reservoir Park and 102 Reservoir Street because of a teenager who was reportedly out of control.
Reports indicate the 15-year-old from Needham had taken a large amount of LSD, a hallucinogenic drug, and was attacking family members and police officers. He had also destroyed several items in the two homes during the incident.
Police detained and transported him to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for observation. The minor is being charged with domestic assault-and-battery, assault-and-battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault of an elderly person, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and malicious destruction of property.
