House Disturbance Leads to Warrant Arrest for A&B with Dangerous Weapon, Drugs

The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July 7 

  • At 7:15 a.m., police responded to a report of attempted larceny from a Marked Tree Road residence sometime overnight. Police spotted a car with the lug nuts removed with cinder blocks next to it. It appears the resident scared off the suspect. 
  • At 11:25 p.m., police responded to a Barbara Road residence for a disturbance. Michael O'Brien, 44, Randolph, was arrested for a default warrant for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, Assault, Resisting Arrest, and a Possession of Class C Drug 
Tuesday, July 8 

  • At 5:30 p.m., vandalism was reported from a home on Dale Street. The resident said damage was done to the driveway, and wanted it documented for insurance purposes.
  • At 6:10 p.m., police stopped a car with an expired inspection sticker. The owner was operating an uninsured car with a revoked registration. The 40-year-old Canton woman will be summonsed to Dedham District Court 
  • At 8:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a bicycle that was stolen from St. Mary Street.
