Domestic Assault and Battery in Needham Police Log: Nov. 1 - 3

The following information was supplied by Needham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 1

6:54 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Junction Street for a report of a sick opossum. After locating the animal it was determined it was injured. The opossum was dispatched safely without incident.

9:08 p.m.: A Murphy Road resident walked into the station to report a suspicious male. The Needham Police Department is investigating.

Saturday, Nov. 2

2:17 p.m.: A Linden Street resident reported her parked motor vehicle being struck by an unknown vehicle.

12:15 p.m.: Police responded to B Street for a report of a stolen 48 foot trailer. The reporting party said that the trailer was stolen between Oct. 22 and Oct. 23. A report was taken, but the reporting party did not have all the information on the trailer. The trailer will be entered into CJIS when the proper information is obtained.

11:20 p.m.: Police responded to a report of an intoxicated male walking in the road on Parker Road. Upon officer arrival the subject became agitated and combative. He was taken into custody by officers. Police arrested Kyle Bourke, 18, of Hunnewell Terrace, and charged him with assault and battery of a police officer.


Sunday, Nov. 3

6:35 p.m.: Police arrested Pamela A. Mulhern, 44, of Adams Street, Waltham, and charged her with domestic assault and battery.

10:45 p.m.: Police observed a motor vehicle operating at a high rate of speed on Great Plain Avenue. After making a motor vehicle stop on Central Avenue, it was determined that the vehicle’s registration was revoked. The operator was given a courtesy transport to their place of employment and the registered owner will be summoned to Dedham District Court for allowing the operation of an uninsured, unregistered and revoked motor vehicle.
